Integration ideas with spreadsheets:
Center for Engineering and Science Education-This was the most interesting site of the integration sites. CIESE was founded in 1998 for improving k-12 science and mathematics education with the use of technology. I was exposed to some awesome science and math hands on and interactive activities.
Spreadsheet software Options:
I like the google docs spreadsheet because I am already familiar with google's open source software and you can access it antime as long as you have internet connections.
Spreadsheet tutorials:
Microsoft excel modules- This is a great site for those of us who hace basically no clue about excel. it provides tutorials about basic excel tools and functions. It also has free downloads for different subjectmatter like graphic organizers and many different forms of timelines. It shows excellent examples of how to use Excel not just for calculating numbers.
Jan's Illustrated Computer Basics: Working with numbers- This site is also very useful in teaching Excel basics for beginners. This site is interactive and filled with pics and diagrams. i will definately revisit this site to learn more.
