Reflection about ways to integrate digital images
I was relieved when this chapter came up. Digital images are a necessity in my classroom. Most often, digital imaging is used for student portfolios at the high school level. I have also used digital images as a source of subject matter for various projects. One of my favorite lessons uses manipulated images with basic software for self portraits in printmaking. Digital images are great teaching tool as well, used as motivation for teaching art concepts. The immediate access to art online has completely replaced the use of a slide projector and limits the necessity of carrying around large prints.

Yes, what a boon to the art teacher. Your students are lucky that you see the digital image as a great teaching tool to enhance your instruction.
