There are limitless ways to use diagrams, maps, and webs in the classroom. I have seen webs used to generate ideas for pre-writing. Outlines could be used to help students understand art textbook layouts and chapter contents. I have used inspiration to create a web map for analyzing artwork. Students could create their own diagrams maps and webs in powerpoint presentations for displaying information for oral reports. There is no end for what diagrams,maps and webs can be used for.

Yes, MSOffice products like PowerPoint can be used for diagramming and more. Even Word and Excel can be used in this way.
